The Bentley Corniche was born alongside a Rolls-Royce of the same name, and although Rolls-Royce sales outnumbered Bentley Corniche, the Bentley version was considered the more sportier and exclusive. This car is one of 14 Corniche Drophead convertibles produced at the Crewe factory bodied by Mulliner Park Ward. It was painted a unique color known as Larch Green. The car was sold to a New Yorker in 1980, acquired by a California owner, and was restored in 1990. The present owner Dr. Robert Brod, brought the car to Pennsylvania in 2005 and with only 22,000 miles on the odometer, looks forward to many more miles of convertible motoring.
