To say that Rogue has been on a roll would be an understatement. Already the number one selling Nissan model throughout the 2017 model year, the mid-year arrival of the all-new Rogue Sport strengthened both total Rogue sales and the Rogue brand.

2018 Nissan Rogue
For the 2018 model year, Rogue is on the move again – led by the addition of available ProPILOT Assist technology, which provides assisted steering, braking and accelerating during single-lane highway driving. ProPILOT Assist is the foundation for the autonomous vehicles of the future, helping drivers stay centered in the lane, navigate stop-and-go traffic, maintain a set vehicle speed and maintain a set distance to the vehicle ahead. And, it is all done with a simple two-button operation. ProPILOT Assist is available on the 2018 Rogue SL grade as part of the Platinum Package.

2018 Nissan RogueAmong the other enhancements to the 2018 Rogue are:
•NissanConnect featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ and one additional ÚSB port (inside front center console box) added to all grades
•Standard Motion-Activated Liftgate added to SV grade (in addition to SL grade)
•SL grade adds standard Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Intelligent Lane Intervention (I-LI) and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) with Pedestrian Detection
•Revised Midnight Edition Package (SV grade) with new black front and rear fascia accents, black rear license plate finisher, black V-motion grille, black emblems
•New S Value Package (replaces Appearance Package, late availability)
•SV Sun and Sound Touring Package revised to include Premium Package content
•Revised SV Premium Package with added Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) and memory driver's seat and outside mirrors
•Revised SL Platinum Package with ProPILOT Assist (Intelligent Cruise Control with full speed range and hold, steering assist) and electronic parking brake (replaces foot release parking brake)
•Two new exterior colors: Scarlet Ember and Midnight Pine

As in previous years, the Rogue offers exceptional passenger and cargo flexibility with its innovative EZ Flex Seating System™ and Divide-N-Hide® Cargo System. The 2018 Rogue is available in three well-equipped grade levels: S, SV and SL.

The Midnight Edition Package, introduced in mid-2017, is upgraded this year with additional 'blackout' features. The full list of special equipment now includes black outside mirror caps, black front and rear fascia accents, black V-motion grille, black roof rails, black rear license plate finisher, black 'ROGÚE' rear emblem, black 'SV' rear emblem, 'Midnight Edition' badge, black 17-inch SV aluminum-alloy wheels, black cross bars, splash guards, Midnight Edition floor mats and illuminated kickplates. The Midnight Edition Package is offered on Rogue SV and SV with Premium Package grades in Magnetic Black, Gun Metallic and Pearl White exterior colors.

Refined exterior design
The 2018 Rogue again offers a desirable combination of compact overall size and ample interior roominess. Details such as wide-opening (77 degrees) rear doors for easier entry and exit to the rear passenger space add to its utility – along with available Motion-Activated Liftgate – making Rogue the perfect vehicle for everyday use and family adventure getaways. The Motion-Activated Liftgate, standard on Rogue SV and SL grades, uses a kick sensor system to provide easy, comfortable and secure operation – both opening and closing of the tailgate.

Other Rogue exterior highlights include body-color heated outside mirrors with available integrated turn signals, a rear spoiler, privacy glass and roof rails. Rogue's available power panoramic moonroof offers a wide view of the outside world through its extended length. The front glass panel slides and tilts, while the rear glass panel is fixed. When in the open position, the front panel slides under the fixed second panel.

The Nissan signature 'V-Motion' grille with redesigned front grille badge area and headlights with LED signature Daytime Running Lights help enhance Rogue's robust, dynamic presence. Rogue SL includes standard 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, while aggressive 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels are also available on SL Platinum models, rounding out the upscale look.

The 2018 Rogue is offered in nine exterior colors: Brilliant Silver, Gun Metallic, Magnetic Black, Pearl White, Glacier White, Monarch Orange, Caspian Blue and new Midnight Pine and Scarlet Ember.

2018 Nissan RoguePremium-look interior
Inside, Rogue offers a premium look and feel throughout. Among the interior features found in the 2018 Rogue are a D-shaped steering wheel and leather-booted sport-mode shifter, and available heated steering wheel, memory for driver's seat and mirror, and remote engine start2. The Platinum Reserve Interior Package is highlighted by premium tan leather-appointed seats with special quilted leather inserts, adding an enhanced sense of luxury style. It is available on Rogue SL models only.

The 2018 Rogue is offered with an innovative EZ Flex Seating System™. Every seat except the driver's easily folds down. The front passenger seat folds rearwards, allowing transport of long items such as an 8-foot ladder when combined with the flat folding 40/20/40-split 2nd row seat. Rogue also offers an innovative Divide-N-Hide® Cargo System that provides 18 adjustable variations between the cargo and occupant areas.

The front bucket seats are a special Zero Gravity design. The driver's seat is 6-way adjustable, with available power adjustment including lumbar support, while the front passenger seat is 4-way adjustable. The available Quick Comfort™ heated front seats are designed to immediately begin warming the body parts most sensitive to heat, such as the thighs and hips. Leather-appointed seats are standard on SL models.

Standard interior features include SiriusXM® Satellite Radio (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately), 5.0-inch center meter color display (Advanced Driver Assist™ Display), 4-speaker AM/FM/CD audio system with auxiliary audio input jack, ÚSB connection port for iPod® interface and other compatible devices, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, RearView Monitor, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth® and Hands-free Text Messaging Assistant (compatible smartphone required). Also available are dual-zone automatic air conditioning and Bose® audio system with nine speakers. The Remote Engine Start (RES) system2 provides flexibility to start the Rogue remotely using the keyless entry fob.

Three interior colors are offered: Charcoal and Almond, along with the special Premium Tan with the Platinum Reserve Interior Package.

Advanced safety and security, connectivity and driving aid features
The 2018 Rogue has a number of available connected technology and smartphone integration features, including standard NissanConnect featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ and 7.0-inch color touch-screen.

Available with the Rogue SV Premium Package and SV Sun and Sound Package is the NissanConnect with Navigation system, featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, Nissan Voice Recognition for navigation and audio, SiriusXM® Travel Link® and Traffic (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately) . And, standard on Rogue SL is the NissanConnect with Navigation and Services powered by SiriusXM® system (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately) featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™.

Standard Rogue Safety Shield technologies include radar-based Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). The 2018 Rogue SL grade is now equipped with standard Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Intelligent Lane Intervention (I-LI) and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) with Pedestrian Detection. Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) is standard with SL and optional with the SV Premium Package and SV Sun and Sound Package.

Advanced ProPILOT Assist

The 2018 Nissan Rogue's new ProPILOT Assist1 eases driver workload by reducing the amount of driver acceleration, steering and braking input under certain driving conditions. To activate the system, the driver simply pushes the blue ProPILOT Assist ON button, which is integrated into the right-side steering wheel spoke. Step two is to set the Intelligent Cruise Control when the desired speed is reached, as with a normal advanced cruise control system.

When lane markers are consistently detected, steering assist engages and the steering wheel/lane marker icons on the instrument panel turn green. Both right and left hand markers need to be detected by the front camera. Steering assist will engage or disengage depending on the visibility or presence of lane markers, though the Intelligent Cruise Control will remain active. If the vehicle comes to a complete stop in a traffic jam situation for more than three seconds, the driver just presses the resume button or taps the accelerator pedal to begin moving again.

Tuned specifically for Ú.S. roads, ProPILOT Assist is designed to be more intuitive and user-friendly compared to other driver-assist technologies. It can potentially help lessen driver fatigue and create a more confident driving experience – especially for drivers who experience heavy highway traffic on a daily basis. It utilizes a forward-facing camera, forward-facing radar, sensors and electronic control module to help the driver stay in the center of the driving lane and to maintain vehicle speed (set by the driver) or help maintain a gap to the preceding vehicle if the vehicle speed drops below the driver-set speed. It also can slow the vehicle to a complete stop and holds the vehicle during traffic jam conditions.

Steering assist is cancelled in inclement weather if the windshield wipers are in the low or high position (if lane lines can be detected, the system can remain active when the wipers are in the intermittent mode or if the mist function is activated).

The driver's input always takes priority, overriding the system when the steering wheel is turned or the turn signal is operated (steering assistance goes into a temporary standby mode). The system also goes into temporary standby mode when the accelerator pedal is pressed. The system's Intelligent Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assistance are both cancelled when the brakes are applied.

In addition to the 2018 Rogue, ProPILOT Assist is also available on the all-new, second generation 2018 Nissan LEAF EV.

Standard 170-horsepower 2.5-liter engine

All 2018 Rogue models are equipped with a responsive 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine rated at 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft or torque. The engine is matched with an advanced Xtronic transmission with standard Sport Mode and Eco switches. Fuel economy3 is rated 26 mpg city, 33 mpg highway and 29 mpg combined for front-wheel-drive models. Rogue AWD models are rated at 25 mpg city, 32 mpg highway and 27 mpg combined3.

The 2018 Rogue features Nissan's suite of confidence-inspiring dynamic technologies with Intelligent Trace Control (I-TC), Intelligent Engine Braking (I-EB) and Intelligent Ride Control (I-RC). Rogue also offers standard 4-wheel independent suspension, Electric Power-assisted Steering, 4-wheel disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with Traction Control System (TCS) and Hill Start Assist. Rogue is available with a choice of front-wheel drive or an intuitive All-Wheel Drive.

Every Rogue also offers a standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) with position monitoring and Nissan's innovative Easy Fill Tire Alert.

A range of well-equipped Rogue models

Along with the long list of standard features found on Rogue S, the Rogue SV adds 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, privacy glass, Nissan Intelligent Key™ with Push Button Ignition, 8-way power driver's seat and power driver's seat lumbar support. The Rogue SV also includes two additional audio system speakers, roof rails and Intelligent Auto Headlights (I-AH), heated outside mirrors, Quick Comfort heated cloth-appointed front seats and remote engine start2 with Intelligent Climate Control, leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual illuminated visor vanity mirrors and Motion-Activated Liftgate.
