Its squared and chiseled appearance includes massive front fenders, signature Nissan grille and large LED headlights with more than 50 LEDs in each headlamp to help create a wide, bright headlight pattern. Rear combination lights have 70 LEDs in each light, helping provide a highly visible, modern appearance.Key features include body-color overfenders, dark-painted roof rails (SV and above, 220-lb weight rating), and an acoustic windshield and front side windows to help reduce noise. Every Armada also features a 7.0-inch Advanced Driver Assist Display, with full color, high resolution for enhanced visibility. Quick operation and access of multiple information screens is available through the steering wheel.Standard smartphone connectivity includes wireless Apple CarPlay® integration and wired Android Auto™. The available wireless smartphone charging starts immediately when the phone is laid down, and a charging indicator shows charging status. The 2022 Armada again features rugged body-on-frame construction, providing the foundation for its outstanding balance of strength, durability and utility.Starting with a durable, heavy-duty ladder frame, Armada features a proven 5.6-liter Endurance® V8 with best-in-class2 standard 400 horsepower (at 5,200 rpm). Torque is rated at 413 lb-ft (at 4,000 rpm).As part of its adventure-ready spirit, the 2022 Armada also offers a best-in-class standard maximum towing capacity3 of up to 8,500 pounds for both 4WD and 2WD models (when properly equipped).A standard integrated Trailer Brake Controller with tow hitch receiver is included on SV, SL and Platinum grades. Trailer Sway Control is standard on SL and Platinum grades. When the vehicle system senses sway, Trailer Sway Control automatically applies the brakes and the vehicle is slowed to eliminate the sway for a more confident towing experience.The standard, advanced 7-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control and Downshift Rev Matching helps enhance fuel efficiency through use of its wide gear ratios, automatic transmission fluid warmer and adoption of idle neutral control.
