Engine
Neon's standard 132-horsepower 2.0-liter single overhead camshaft (SOHC) 16-valve 4-cylinder engine has enough kick to make driving fun, but it's economical enough to do it responsibly. Neon offers plenty of punch wîth your choice of a standard five-speed manual transmission or an available electronically controlled four-speed automatic on SE and SXT.
Quiet Ride
Reducing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) was a priority for Neon's redesign team. Their high-tech tools, computer analyses, and attention to detail gave Neon the right balance between excellent performance and a quiet, comfortable ride.
Air Bags
Neon includes next-generation driver and front-passenger air bags,* available supplemental side air bags, child seat anchor system (LATCH), and three-point lap/shoulder belts for all passengers.
AntiLock Brakes
Four-wheel disc antilock brakes are available on SE and SXT. The system is equipped wîth electronic sensors that prevent wheel lockup, offering improved §teering control under extreme braking and/or slippery conditions.Source - Dodge
