Seven seats to two in 30 seconds flat? It's as easy as 1, 2, 3. Don't worry, this isn't one of your kid's story problems. This is the latest in the long line of innovations you've come to expect from Dodge. The 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan features convenience, versatility, and storage:

With our minivan-first available Stow 'n Go™ seating and storage system you can fold the second- and 60/40 split third-row seats into the floor in about 30 seconds. This means you can go from seven seats for hauling the whole family to two for hauling everything else. You'll never have to remove a headrest or take out the seats again.

When both rows of seats are upright, spacious storage bins provide 12 cubic feet of storage. Because you're not the only one in the family with a lot of stuff. And to get all that stuff out a little more easily, we've integrated cargo nets into each storage bin.

Still not enough room? Don't worry, we're not done yet. The 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan can also include an available overhead rail system with three movable/removable storage bins for the stuff you can't fit anywhere else.

Grand Caravan SE has a standard second-row removable bench with in-floor storage bins, and a third-row stowable split bench. All Grand Caravans come equipped with innovative seating and storage capabilities. Designed for commercial use with both short- and long-wheelbase versions, Dodge Caravan and Grand Caravan cargo vans provide business customers a spacious, yet compact interior, along with a commercial suspension for heavier cargo without sacrificing ride quality.

For ultimate storage capacity, rear seats are not included in Dodge Caravan and Grand Caravan cargo vans. And for increased protection, a tough rubber floor mat covers the cargo area. Dual sliding doors and rear-quarter window openings offer a variety of glass and/or panel configurations for the perfect balance of utility and visibility.



2006 Dodge Caravan Cargo Van
Dodge Caravan Cargo Van delivers a host of standard features including a spirited 3.3-liter V-6 engine matched with a four-speed automatic transmission, rack and pinion power steering, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, driver's inflatable knee blocker, air conditioning, sunscreen glass, front and rear power outlets and 16-inch all-season tires.

Other available features include a roof rack, security alarm, remote keyless entry, speed control, tilt steering column, power-heated mirrors, power front windows and power door locks. Dodge Caravan Cargo Van has 146.7 cu. ft. of maximum cargo space and has a maximum towing capacity of 2,000 lbs.

2006 Dodge Grand Caravan Cargo Van
Packing plenty of comfort, Dodge Grand Caravan Cargo Van is the long-wheelbase version of the Dodge Caravan Cargo Van. It has the same standard offerings and options as the Dodge Caravan Cargo Van, and is equally resilient and durable. Dodge Grand Caravan Cargo Van offers 160.7 cu. ft. of maximum cargo capacity with up to 5,700 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Maximum towing capacity is 2,000 lbs.

Chief among 2006 standard enhancements is a new long-wheelbase modified with Stow 'n Go body and tubs, Belt Alert for driver and passenger seats, and loose fuel cap indicator message on instrument panel.

Exterior colors available for the 2006 Dodge Caravan/Grand Caravan Cargo Vans include Inferno Red Crystal Pearl Coat, Stone White, Bright Silver Metallic and Midnight Blue Pearl Coat.

Powertrain and Handling

Hydraulic power-assist rack and pinion steering, heavy-duty ride suspension, front anti-roll bar, rear leaf suspension, P215/65SR16 tires, and four-wheel disc brakes with ABS combine to ensure a safe and secure driving experience.

The 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan's Stow 'n Go seating and storage system features comfortable second- and third-row seats that easily fold into the floor in less than 30 seconds. With all seats in the upright position, there is an available 12 cu. ft. of storage space. The second row has two roomy, covered storage bins with 6 cu. ft. of space, while the third row has an available 6 cu. ft. storage area with built-in grocery hooks. For 2006, Chrysler Group modified the second-row storage bin covers with a tri-fold access panel that allows easier access to the covered storage bins and doesn't require moving the front driver or passenger seat forward.
