1988 Lola LC88

The Lola LC88 was designed by Eric Broadley and Chris Murphy and produced in 1988 and 1989. Most were powered by 3.5-litre V8 Ford Cosworth engines. An example bearing chassis number 05 was transformed to accommodate a Lamborghini V12 engine.

The LC88 racers were entered into 17 races with a total of 34 entries during that period. There were 3 DNS and 12 DNF. Its greatest success was achieved on the slower tracks as it did not have as high of a top speed of other Formula One racers.
