Design
The brand new Westfield XTR2, an entirely new concept from the West Midlands specialist sports car manufacturer, better known for their retro style, high performance pocket rockets.
Performance
Intended primarily for track day use, the XTR2 will be fully road legal with space for two adults with performance in abundance.
Westfield's founder, Chris Smith comments, ' We have always made cars that are easy to understand, inexpensive to own and have pure driving appeal. The essential ingredient in all our designs is that the owner can build and maintain the car himself. I believe that XTR2 is the start of a new generation of minimalist sports cars that will make high performance track driving accessible to all enthusiasts, not just those with big bank balances'
Technology
Complete with optional rear wing, the all-enveloping, aerodynamic bodywork is based on the latest crop of Sports Racing designs. Westfield are acknowledged chassis experts and the light weight steel space frame chassis with all round adjustable, independent wishbone suspension incorporating all the latest developments from their racing division. Driving through the rear wheels, the mid-engined world beating Suzuki Hayabusa engine complete with six-speed sequential gearbox completes the sensational package.
Available either as a fully factory built ready to drive Westfield or in easy to assemble components for home completion, the XTR2 prices start at only £12,950.00 for the home build version and from only £23,750 for the completed car FULLY road registered.Source - Westfield Sportscars Ltd.
