LR3´s extremely powerful 4.4-litre V8 engine delivers the on-road performance of a luxury sedan. LR3 is also available in a compact, potent V6.

Electronic Air Suspension (EAS)
The LR3´s fully independent suspension is enhanced by Electronic Air Suspension (EAS) for a ride quality that´s comfortable on-road and off-road. Includes automatic load-leveling suspension height that can be set to three modes:
· Access for easy passenger entry/exit
· Off-road for surmounting rocks and obstacles
· Standard for all other on-road travel

Six-speed Automatic Transmission with CommandShift™
The LR3 features a sophisticated six-speed automatic transmission. It adapts to an individual´s driving style to optimize performance or fuel economy, depending on driver demands.

· Select either automatic or electronic manual shifting
· Choose Sport mode for improved response
· Select the manual mode and shift through the gears yourself; the instrument panel displays the gear you´re in.

Integrated Body-frame™
LR3´s Integrated Body-frame™ provides:

· A quieter cabin
· Safety systems that control crash energies more predictably

Rack-and-Pinion Steering
The LR3´s rack-and-pinion steering utilizes engine-speed-sensitive power-assist that offers ideal feedback in various situations.

· More boost in low-speed maneuvers such as parallel parking
· Less boost at highway speeds for handling and control
· Offers a turning circle of 37.6 feet
