Today, Accord V-6 models sold in California and parts of the Northeast are rated as Ultra-Low-Emission Vehicles (ULEV-2). Four-cylinder models with automatic transmission sold in the same areas meet even stricter Partial-Zero-Emission Vehicle (PZEV) standards.
With new intake and exhaust tuning for 2006, both Accord engines now produce more power with greater economy—because nobody ever said that being kind to the environment had to mean sacrificing fun.
Finally, it's good to know that the Accord Coupe is among the many Honda vehicles specifically designed so that the various plastics used can be easily removed at the end of the vehicle's life for improved recycling. Have it all, while giving back.
