Based on an earlier luxury car, the early 1920's Lafayette, the AJAX Motor Company was created in 1924 by Charles Nash. AJAX presented for the first time in a car of its price range a 170 ci 7-main bearing crankshaft engine, 4-wheel brakes, and a force-feed lubrication system. This rare remaining example of that marque is an accurate representation of the car down to the marque's trademark Mallard Green painted body wîth Black running gear, fenders and upper structure, and completed wîth Gold accent stripes. The car also has a very rare factory optional tail light assembly. The Roster of the Nash Car Club of America, in 2002, listed just six of them in the world.Source - Barrett-Jackson
