This car was originally owned by Howard Hughes. The world's most advanced steam car, it has a compound steam engine. Doble actually produced only 26 automobiles, although factory records claim 45. The price of this car new was $11,000. This car took First in Class at Pebble Beach in 1997, and took first place at the 2001 Far West Classic CCCA event in 2001.
