1939 Buick Estate Wagon news, pictures, and information
It would be 1940 when Buick introduced the 'Woodie' wagon as a production car, but several special one-off estate wagons were built in 1938 and 1939. The 1939 Buick was the real hot rod of the General Motors line-up, as it was the favorite division of GM President, Harlow Curtice and Chief Engineer, Charles Chayne. This particular coachwork Buick was built by Wilanger.
