1969 Macon MR7 news, pictures, and information

The English based Macon Company created Formula Fords during the late 1960s. Tony Macon created his first monoposto racer in 1967 and dubbed the MR6. An MR6 was driven by Ray Allen during its inaugural season. Allen had won the first stand-along Formula Ford race in July of 1967 and true-to-form, brought a victory to the Macon MR7 on its inaugural outing.

Most of the Formula Fords were sold in Europe. A few were exported to the United States.
