The Dart Buggy was very typical of the era and is believed to be one of about six in the world. The body is constructed of wood and has been painted green with yellow and red pin striping. The engine is an air-cooled, two-cylinder unit that produces 10 horsepower. The chain driven wooden wheels are powered by a planetary transmission. Stopping was by the rear-wheel brakes.
The passengers were protected from the elements by a black leather apron. Seating is for two or three with a little storage area for smaller items. In many respects, this is similar to a horse-drawn carriage.
A recent restoration has returned this vehicle to its original condition.
