The 'Contemporary Classic' version takes on the avant-garde style of a vehicle that has become an icon, an instant classic. It was developed to combine dynamic performance with the highest levels of comfort.

Purity and elegance are Maserati traits. These are brought out by the all-leather interior. This is bordered by the contrasting piping - the same colour as the exterior - that profiles the seats and cabin. A further touch of class is provided by the Vintage blue instrumentation and leather steering wheel.

Completing the look are the 19 inch ball-polished wheel rims.

As Giorgetto Giugiaro, responsible for the sweeping design, states: 'the 'Contemporary Classic' design for the Maserati GranSport further enriches this coupé. The GranSport reconnects with the sporting pedigree of the past.

This is an age that we appreciate but which has been largely lost in the evolution of technology and design'. Changes in the automobile sector regard performance, the mechanics, and handling dynamics. This new interior finish falls into this category and has been developed to fit smoothly into the mould of what is a classic marque.

'Contemporary Classic' is the result of what technology can deliver to the client. There are some details that improve the quality of a product and make it distinct. In this case the vehicle's interior harmonises effortlessly with the exterior, enhancing it without any excess.

MASERATI GRANSPORT 'CONTEMPORARY CLASSIC'

As a tribute to the enormous success enjoyed by the GranSport, the maximum expression of the coupé concept designed by Giugiaro, Maserati unveils at the Paris Motorshow the new 'Contemporary Classic' equipment.
The name 'Contemporary Classic' is inspired by the car's style, an icon for Italian design which has become an instant classic. It combines excellent dynamic handling with top level comfort.

EXTERIOR

The equipment provides for 19'', ball-polished wheel rims.

INTERIOR

With the 'Contemporary Classic' equipment, the car's pure elegance is underlined by a full leather interior with stylish piping around the seats and dashboard (suggested in the same colour as the bodywork), and is combined with other chic touches, such as light blue instruments with a vintage look and a full leather steering wheel.
Four selections of exterior and interior colours are suggested for the GranSport Contemporary Classic.
