Marcello Gandini of Bertone was tasked with designing the Lamborghini Bravo. Sitting atop a shortened P300 Urraco chassis and powered by a eight-cylinder engine capable of producing 300 horsepower, the Bravo was a compliment to the Lamborghini Marque. The 90-degree engine was mounted mid-ship and drove the rear wheels. A five-speed sychromesh gearbox, Girling disc brakes, Independent suspension, and a 21 gallon fuel tank comprised the 2390 pound vehicle.
Bravo, named after a breed of Spanish fighting bulls, was code-named 'Studio 114'. The prototype version was displayed to the public at the Turin Auto Show in 1974. Due to the rising energy-crisis and Ferrucio Lamborghini's retirement, this small GT super car was never put into production, and only one example was ever created.
