1956 Allard K3

The example shown finished in red paint is a fully restored Allard K3 Roadster and powered by a Chrysler 331 Hemi engine. It carries chassis K33179 and was offered for sale at the 2006 WorldWide Auction held on Hilton Head Island. It has a bubble hood that is held in place with leather hood locks. The interior has black bucket seats, a roll bar, and racing lap belts. It has been prepared for racing with its 2 fuel pumps, in-dash shutoff, and dash-mounted battery kill switch. There is a Hurst floor-mounted shifter, front disk brakes, and rear inboard disk brakes. It completed the One Lap of America and other touring events.

It was expected to fetch between $75,000-$100,000 at auction. It found a new owner at just under the estimation, selling for $70,400.
