Swift Engineering Inc. was founded in 1983. Within their first year they built a racing car that went on to win the Formula Ford SCCA National Championship. This conformed and validated the companies mission statement: 'he design, manufacture and sale of successful racing cars, and the concurrent creation of an internationally renowned engineering company wîth recognized capabilities in aerodynamics, advanced composites, mechanical engineering and precision, limited volume, and rapid turnaround manufacturing.'
To date, the company has created over 450 cars that have won over 40 national and international racing championships.
