Production of the AC 16/90 lasted from 1936 through 1939 with a total of 44 being constructed. The cars were powered by a six-cylinder OHC engine capable of producing 90 horsepower. The car was equipped with a Arnott supercharger and three- SU carburetors. Top speed was estimated to be just under 100 mph.

This elegant 1938 AC 16/90 was on display at the 2006 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. It is a restored example that is finished in silver with a red leather interior. The car currently resides in Portland, Oregon.
