With lagging sales, Packard made every attempt to produce a competitive automobile. The Pacific features a revised design 212 horsepower, 359 cubic-inch Straight Eight engine mated to an Ultramatic transmission. Other features in response to public demands include those such as power brakes and power seats.
This Pacific, a rare car, is number 19 of a 1189 production run.
