California born Dino Crescentini began racing in 1972 in various motorcross events. The deserts of California provided ample opportunities to perfect his skills and to fine tune his passion. In 1983 and 1984 he competed in SCCA GT-5 driving an Alfa Romeo GTA. He competed in SCCA GT3 class and Nasport during the early 1990s. From 1993 through 1997 he competed in the Trans Am Series.
