George N. Pierce began his involvement with motor cars in 1901 with a model similar to the one shown. This example has a Stanhope body which was a model that held the driver and two passengers with one of the passengers accommodated in a fold-down seat in the front of the vehicle. The car exhibited is unrestored and totally original and was purchased from A.E. Ulman in 1943 and has never been shown before. The 2007 Radnor Hunt Concours d'Elagance was its inaugural event.
