1913 Marmon Model 32 news, pictures, and information

Roadster

This Type 32 has a distinguished pedigree and is one of the few cars of this early manufacturer with it's complete history known. The original owner was none other than Howard Marmon himself, and the Marmon was the subject of many unique improvements to the power plant.

The engine has a 4.75-inch bore and 5-inch stroke for a larger displacement size of 354 cubic-inches. It also has an improved intake system with Zenith carburetion. With these changes, the engine produces just over 70 horsepower. That was 20% over a stock engine. It is also interesting to note that the entire body is cast aluminum, a first by the Marmon Company. This Marmon only weighs 2600 pounds.

The car was part of the Harrahs Collection for almost 20 years and was used in the movie 'The Swan' in 1957 starring Grace Kelly and Agnes Moorehead.
