The Porsche 997 is now available with upgrades from Gemballa. The list of enhancements include an increase in displacement to 3.8-liters and a replacement of the stock turbochargers with Garret T035 units. Additional improvements to the engine include new heads, crankshaft, and upgraded connecting rods. The result of all these enhancements is an astonishing 850 horsepower and 690 foot-pounds of torque. The suspension has been beefed up with an H&R coil over suspension system, adjustable front and rear anti-sway bars, and 19-inch wheels and Yokohama AVS Sport tires.

The vehicle is dubbed the Gemballa Avalanche GTR 800 EVO-R. It is distinguishable by radical exterior improvements. It adds a new fascia in the front and rear, a front hood, and a carbon fiber front splitter and rear wing.
