Mac Tools Roadster
The Mac Tools Roadster started life as one of 11,000 Roadsters produced by the Ford Motor Company in 1929. After spending thirty years delivering dependable transportation for a number of owners in the Midwestern United States, it fell into a state of disrepair and was finally sold for junk in Northern Illinois. In the late 1970's it was purchased by an industrious hot rodder and began its second life as a street rod, powered by Chevrolet V8.

In the mid-eighties it was purchased by the current owner and eventually converted to a purpose built race car. Over the past five years it has won many Nostalgia drag racing events as well as recorded several measured mile Bonneville records. When the car was retired in 1995, it held an open record at Bonneville of 152 mph, and recorded a flying mile mark at 156 mph at ECTA clocks at Moultrie, Georgia, making it the fastest supercharged Flathead street roadster in the world.

This car is currently powered by a 296 cubic-inch Mercury V8 engine with Dearborn Crankshaft, Ross pistons, aluminum rods, B&M supercharger, and Holley 850 CFM carburetors. The headers are by Woodruff and Fel-pro gaskets & seals. The total weight of this vehicle is 1960 pounds with Penske shocks and a 8-inch Ford differential.
