Conceived - Designed - and Built in the USAIconic Motors was started with one man's relentless drive of innovation and passion to proudly conceive, design, engineer and construct a high performance luxury super sports car entirely in the United States of America. After years of research and development with some of the finest engineers in the fields of automotive engineering, electronics and leading edge materials sciences, Iconic Motors is pleased to announce the Inconic GTR - a car that embodies the companies vision while setting the new standard in limited production automobiles for today and the future.
The Iconic GTR is a tip of the hat to traditional American muscle cars of the past, completely reinvented with 21st Century engineering, technology, and materials. The Iconic Motors founder had a dream to create a car that represents rolling art, inside and out, while boasting performance capabilities rivaling the world's finest supercars.
Production is limited to 100 automobiles.
Under the elegant bonnet is a 6.9-liter Iconic-designed all-aluminum V8 engine capable of producing over 800 horsepower. With a mere 2200 pound curb weight, the car is able of achieving over 200 mph. The Formula-One derived racing suspension gives the car a torsional rigidity approaching 80-percent of a typical F1 race car.
The innovative technology of the GTR is the subject of 18 pending U.S. patent applications. These highlights showcase just a few of the custom-crafted components that make the GTR the new standard in high-performance luxury vehicles. Designed with unparalleled attention to detail, all of these parts made on the inside are as finely designed in terms of appearance, quality and finish as anything viewable from the exterior of the automobile. All dashboard control switches are made entirely of jewelry-quality, finished stainless steel featuring synthetic sapphire push button actuators and gauge faces. The synthetic sapphire, with hardness second only to a natural diamond, is two grades above what is found in high-end Swiss watches.Source - Iconic Motors
