Coupe

This car was one half of a two-car team entered in the LeMans 24-Hour race in 1966. Because the cars practiced so well and because the French were worried about their cars being beaten in the small bore category, team manager Geoffrey Healey was told the cars could not compete in their bright orange livery (painted that way for safety). So quickly over night, the cars were painted in British Racing Green and allowed to compete. The car finished 18th overall with drivers Paddy Hopkirk and Andrew Hedges. The next year, 1967, the car was repainted orange and entered in the Sebring 12-Hours, where it finished 13th overall with Clive Baker and Raune Aaltoen as drivers. Its last professional race was the 1970 Daytona 24 with Jacksonville drivers William Harris and Robert Lewis, where it finished 33rd overall. The Cotters purchased the car from Stan Huntley of Portland, OR, in 2002.
