The Fiat Ulysse Eurovan was a joint-venture of PSA and Fiat, and produced at the Sevel Nord factory in France. The first eurovan examples were sold as Citroen Evasion (also known as Synergie), the Peugeot 805, the Lancia Zeta, and the Fiat Ulysse. There were only minor differences between these different versions.
The Ulysse was named after the Roman name for Odysseus, the hero of Homer's Odyssey.
A new version of the Eurovan were introduced in 2002. The Ulysse was the only to retain its original name. The Citroen's version was the C8, the Lancia's van was the Phedra, and Peugeot introduced the 807.
