This example is one of only two Crosmobile Fastback's known to exist. It has been treated to a body-up restoration, including an engine rebuild, new chrome, and paint. The list of options and accessories on this car include a radio, dual side mirrors, dual wipers, and Crosmobile hub caps. It is painted in Pewter Grey and has a red leatherette interior. Power is from a four-cylinder engine which is mated to a three-speed manual gearbox with floor-shift controls.
The Crosley automobile would remain in production until 1952. These small, lightweight, and low cost vehicles were rather impressive, but the American public preferred the larger, more powerful automobile to enjoy the vast, newly created American roadway system. Around 75,000 examples of the Crosley automobile were produced before production ceased.
