2008 was the third year that Michael Crawford Motorsports competed in the Indy Pro Series. In 2007, they had 9 top 10 finished and were expecting great things for 2008. The team owner is Michael Crawford who was the general manager of Sam Schmidt Motorsports since the end of the 2002 season. The team went on to win the Pro Series Championship in 2004 and fielded three cars that finished in the top six in points in 2005. Crawford stepped out on his own after running 14 events under the Sam Schmidt Motorsports banner in 2005.For 2008, the drivers are Mark Olson and Jake Slotten.
