The first 300 cars had Anzian 322 motorcycle engines, then Excelsion 328cc Talisman twin engines were used. This car has a three-speed transmission with reverse, chain drive to front wheels via differential and half shafts. It is also equipped with four-wheel drum brakes, fiberglass body reinforced with aluminum panels.
Berkley's were raced extensively with victories in Verona, Monza and the Mille Miglia. SA 322 models were not exported to the United States. Approximately 2500 4-wheel Berkeley cars were produced.
