1931 Bugatti Type 49

The Bugatti Type 49 was introduced in 1930 at the Paris Salon and successor to the popular Type 44. It had a narrow chassis frame, cable-operated drum brakes, a four-speed gearbox, and a horseshoe radiator. Power was from a single overhead-camshaft three-valve-per-cylinder straight-eight engine fitted with a new twin-plug ignition system and a displacement size of 3,257cc.
