2010 Williams FW32 Cosworth

The Williams FW32 is their 2010 entry for the Formula One Season being powered by a new Cosworth CA2101 engine. They had announced their switched in early 2009 from a Toyota engine to using Cosworth after fearing that Toyota would withdrawal their engine support.

The Williams F1 team has accomplished much in the last few seasons. Being an independent team, they have not had the same financial support that most other competitors enjoy. Though this is a disadvantage, the teams talents and ingenuity made them competitive, often times proving to be quicker than similarly engined Toyotas.

For 2010, new rules ban refueling during the race. As a result, all the teams are installing larger fuel tanks. Also, performing tests during the year was also banned.

The Williams FW32 is joined by two new drivers, Barrichello and Hulkenberg, for 2010. Brazilian Rubens Barrichello ended the 2009 season third in driver's points. German Nico Hulkenberg was the 2009 GP2 Championship and has been Williams' reserve driver for two season.

The FW32 was unveiled for the first time at a shakedown test at Silverstone. The first official test will be on February 1 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.
