For 2001, the Audi S8 sold for $72,500. Power was from a modified-version of the A8's 4.2-liter V8. It was given a new two-stage variable intake manifold plus new camshafts, boosting power to an impressive 360 horsepower. To cope with this increase in power, the suspension was upgraded to include an all-aluminum setup with up-rated anti-sway bars, shocks, and springs. Completing this sports package were 18-inch alloy wheels.
