The 1963 Austin-Healey Sprite received very few changes. Pricing rose slightly to $1,875 and 8,852 examples were produced (a total of 8,348 Austin-Healeys of all models were sold in the United States in 1963). The engine was the same as the 1962 model year, displacing 948cc and offering 46 horsepower. They had a four-speed manual gearbox with hydraulic disc brakes in the front.
