2003 Sauber C22

The Sauber C22 was driven by Nick Heidfeld and Heinz-Harald Frentzen during the 2003 Formula One season, with Neel Jani acting as the team's test driver. The car was designed by Willy Rampf and made its debut at the 2003 Australian Grand Prix. The car was powered by a Petronas 03A V10 engine that was mated to a Sauber 7-speed semi-automatic gearbox. The car rode on Bridgestone tires and was fueled by Petronas fuel.

The C22 experienced its most successful race at the United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis, where they scored 10 points with Heidfeld finishing in 5th place and Frentzen achieving a podium finish of 3rd.

At the end of the season, the team was in sixth place in the Constructors Championship, scoring nineteen points from the sixteen races.
