Beginning in 1975, the Volkswagen Beetle came equipped with an electronic fuel injection system. The overhead-valve four-cylinder engine displaced 96.7 cubic-inches and delivered nearly 50 horsepower. Bodystyles included a 2-door sedan or a convertible. For 1976, the wheels on the Beetle were updated.
