Former F1 driver Mark Webber gets a unique perspective on Rally Italia Sardinia, round seven of the dramatic 2017 FIA World Rally Championship, for his second stint as Red Bull TV guest reporter, after fronting coverage from the very first round of the season in Monte Carlo.

For the latest island event, Mark will report on all the action with a unique Mediterranean twist – joined by his partners in crime Mike Chen and Matthew Wilson – while the rally cars tear up the landscape in the never-ending quest to find out who is quickest.

Another budding Red Bull TV guest reporter is back in action in Sardinia but this time, in a rally car. Andreas Mikkelsen, who finished third overall in the WRC standings for the last three years, returns to competition with Citroën.

After being left on the sidelines since Volkswagen pulled out from the WRC last year, the Norwegian has only been able to take part in a few rounds of the lower WRC2 category this season so far. Now he's determined to show what he can do in his first fight at the top level of the WRC this year, with Citroën saying that they want this to be more than just a 'one shot' deal.

Out front, Thierry Neuville and Sébastien Ogier have won Italy's rally in 2016 and 2015 respectively – and they are set to resume their fight following a thrilling duel at the last event in Portugal. Ogier eventually claimed his second victory of the season there, making it two wins apiece for the championship protagonists so far. Who will be the first to make it three?

Sardinia is well-known for its hot and rough gravel stages, with a big risk of punctures due to all the loose rocks. Mark, who witnessed all the WRC battles on asphalt in Monte Carlo can't wait to see the 2017 cars in action on gravel. You can catch them – and him – live on Red Bull TV SS13, Coiluna Loelle, from 13:50 on Saturday 10 June, as well as highlights shows from Friday to Sunday.
