2020 Ford Expedition makes more tech standard, reintroduces King Ranch edition

The Ford Expedition three-row SÚV, along with the extended-wheelbase version Expedition MAX, were built with the family in mind, and for the 2020 model year, families get even more – more standard technology, more choices.

Tech features such as FordPass Connect™, which includes a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 10 mobile devices, SYNC® 3, which features compatibility with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, and Ford Co-Pilot360™ Technology are standard across the lineup.

Adding to a high-end offerings that already include the premium Platinum model, 2020 also signals the return of the legendary King Ranch edition, the only full-size SÚV authentically inspired by the iconic Texas ranch.

Expedition King Ranch includes premium updates inside and out, such as elegant Stone Gray paint on the grille mesh, lower bumpers, power-deployable running boards, rear bumper skid plate, trailer hitch cover, roof-rack side rails, and side mirror caps.

King Ranch rides on 22-inch six-spoke painted machined-face aluminum wheels with dark tarnish-painted pockets. King Ranch badging with the famed 'Running W' logo appears on the body sides, liftgate and wheel center caps.

Inside, premium Del Rio leather covers all three rows of seats. Ebony Del Rio leather covers the door trim while Mesa Del Rio leather gives a soft touch to the door armrests. The steering wheel is wrapped in Mesa Del Rio leather and features elegant Kingsville stitching. The center console combines the elegance of Del Rio leather trim and Ziricote wood veneer.

As with Platinum models, King Ranch comes standard with Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist driver-assist technology, continuously controlled damping, 360-degree camera with split-view and front/rear washer, power-folding, heated sideview mirrors with turn-signal indicators, security approach lamps, and auto-dimming driver's side mirror.

For 2020, Platinum models are updated with new 22-inch wheels. Leather upgrades highlight the interior, including leather-wrapped instrument panel topper, front door trim rollover, console rails, and front and rear door armrests.

New available exterior colors are Burgundy Velvet Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Desert Gold, Iconic Silver, Rapid Red Metallic Tri-Coat, and Star White Metallic Tri-Coat.
