The Peugeot Moonster is a very bold and dramatic concept, with all creative freedom handed to the designers. The internet was used for design creativity and to spark the imagination. Peugeot invited individuals to submit design schematics via their website, which attracted around 750 entries. A final 50 top designs were selected via online voting. The winner was Yugoslavian, Marko Lukovic, with his Moonster design. The Concept was shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2001.
It is a concept, and void of an engine, transmission or even a suspension system. The elegant body was hand formed from sheet aluminum and painstakingly polished to a brilliant luster.
