This was a proposal for the 1955 Studebaker Starliner, designed by Bob Bourke. It was basically a facelift of the 53-4 style with a fine mesh grille, wire wheels, and small fiberglass fins that resembled those of the 1956 Hawk. This beautiful design, however, was not used. Instead for 1955 Studebaker over-chromed the front end instead of using Bourkes style with virtually no chrome, holding true to the original (1953) car. The 1955 Studebakers still looked nice, but I think this styling proposal looks better. This car became Bob Bourkes personal car.Source -
