The Heuliez Groupe is the French equivalent of the Italian Pininfarina.Its not just a design house: they manufacture the Citroen XM and theXantia estate. From time to time they present an intriguing one-off tofree their minds. This happened again at the recent Paris Autoshow.The Intruder is based on the Mercedes G and its the creation of the Italianartm of the Heuliez group. The aim was to create a versatile off-roader.One which should be converted from 'Coupé' to 'Cabriolet'. Atpresent the Intruder is a coupé wîth a removable hard-top whichtransforms the car to a Roadster! The engines is an unchanged Mercedes six-cylinder unit, wîth a max. powerof 210 bhp.
