Formula Suzuki Hayabusa will be the official racing vehicle of Formula Malaysia ChampionshipThe Formula Suzuki Hayabusa will be the only official racing vehicle of Formula Malaysia Championship that will be newly held in Malaysia from March 2002.
Formula Malaysia Championship will consist of annual 7 races as a series, the purpose of which is training young drivers to promote motorsport in Malaysia. The first round will be held at Sepan International Circuit on March 17 as a supporting race of Formula One Malaysian GP - 2nd round of FIA Formula One World Championship.
Suzuki Motor Corporation will lend 20 of Formula Suzuki Hayabusa to cooperate in holding this race, in response to the request by Mokhzani Mahathir, the Chairman of Motorsports Development Committee of Malaysian Government and Sepang International Circuit.
In addition, 20 mechanics of Suzuki Works Techno in Japanese domestic dealers will attend the event in order to collaborate in technical assistance and promoting motorsport internationally.Source - Suzuki © 1998-2009.
