2002 Peugeot Sésame news, pictures, and information
Just say the word, Sesame, and you have the key to the concept.
Two sliding doors form the defining design idea of this all-new concept car.
The idea for Sesame came from listening to and examining what customers want. These expectations combined with significant technological innovations share one single goal: to make life easier for users.
Thus, each side door slides over almost one third of the total length of 3.70m.
With a user-friendly, motor-driven opening mechanism, access to the four seats could not be easier: you need only slip in and make yourself comfortable ...
Part of its dynamic nature comes from the front of the car, with a low-lying cheerful looking air intake. Sesame has an ultra-short bonnet, glass roof and capacious windscreen providing a light-filled interior.
Versatile and easy to manoeuvre in urban or non-urban contexts, the car has a 1.6 110bhp engine with sequential control manual transmission that can be switched to automatic mode.
Hidden under its 'towny' look, Sesame offers surprisingly generous interior space thanks to its MPV architecture. The upholstery chosen to dress up its elegant, harmonious and modern interior is yellow Alcantara and blue leather.Source - Peugeot
