2000 Oldsmobile Recon news, pictures, and information
In 1999, Oldsmobile introduced their Recon Concept vehicle. It was a four-door SUV with a dual panel panoramic sunroof and rear suicide doors. It had a reconfigurable instrument panel, a V6 engine that displaced three-liters, and an all-wheel drive system.
Though the Recon never made it in production, partly due to the demise of the Oldsmobile brand in 2004, parts of the styling did make its way to other GM products. In 2002, Saturn introduced their Vue which had many similarities to the Recon Concept.
