The Speedwell Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin produced cars for two years, from 1903 to 1904. In 1902, the cars had been sold under the name 'Kunz'. It would return to this name (the name of its founder, John L. Kunz), in 1905. Power was from a single cylinder engine which produced a modest eight horsepower. This power was sent tot he rear wheels via a two-speed planetary transmission. Pricing was around $1,000 for the small vehicle.
