This unusual three-wheeler is driven by a chain drive through the single rear wheel. This vehicle was a jitney or taxi-like vehicle. With the passenger seated in front of the driver it would be rather hard for the driver to see where he was going if his passenger was a lady wîth a large picture hat.Source - Luray Cavern Museum
