1906 Cadillac Model M news, pictures, and information
This car is original in most respects. The one cylinder engine has been rebuilt, and the car has had new upholstery and new paint. It travels comfortably at 20 MPH, and can do 30 MPH.
A copy of original records from Cadillac indicates that the car was assembled in April, 1906, and was shipped to Mr. B. A. Robison, a Cadillac dealer in Worcester, Massachusetts, on May 5, 1906. The party from whom the car was purchased lived only a few miles from Worcester. The car is a joy and a pleasure to drive, and is one of the owner's favorite early vehicles.
This car is a 1906 Cadillac Model M Tulip Touring car powered by a 5-horsepower, one-cylinder engine. It is a completely original car that has never been taken apart. It is equipped with one tailight, two sidelights, two headlights and a horn. It has the original interior, top and floor mat. It rests on a 76-inch wheelbase and has an 18-inch wide, body-double door entrance with a divider front seat. The car sold new for $950 without the lamps.
Perhaps an outstanding example of elegant beauty and comfort of its period. By 1906 most manufacturers had progressed to two or four cylinder engines; however, this model Cadillac was very popular and an excellent performer. For more information and related vehicles, click
