Commercial vehicles receive much abuse during their lifetime. This unrestored truck is a rare survivor from the early 20th century. It was built as a company display model, entered in the 1911 and 1912 national Automobile Show in Chicago. The truck has no serial number and very low miles; it was never registered for use on a public street. The Schmidt Brothers probably built fewer than 100 vehicles during their tenure.Source - AACA Museum
