Bobby competed against the likes of Gilles Villeneuve, Elliot Forbes-Robinson, Bill Brack and many other young drivers all gunning for a seat in Formula 1. In seven Formula Atlantic races, Bobby earned one pole position and several second place finishes. He also won two SCCA national races and the SCCA Formula Atlantic Championship at Road Atlanta in 1975. Bobby was reunited with this car in 1999.
